Official Rules

CALLAGHAN THROWBACK GIVEAWAY

The Callaghan Throwback Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Las Palapas Restaurants, Inc. ("Sponsor"), with principal offices in San Antonio, Texas. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.) or Instagram.

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the state of Texas who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Las Palapas Restaurants, Inc., its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

The Giveaway begins on April 28th 2026 at 12:00 AM Central Time and ends on May 7th 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time (the "Giveaway Period"). All entries must be received during the Giveaway Period to be eligible.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

To enter, participants must complete both of the following steps during the Giveaway Period:

Step 1: Be a registered member of the LP Club loyalty program. Membership is free and can be obtained at laspalapas.com or through the Las Palapas mobile app. Existing LP Club members are already eligible for this step.

Step 2: Submit a throwback photo or video featuring the Las Palapas Callaghan Road location (8005 Callaghan Road, San Antonio, TX 78230) or a Las Palapas memory associated with that location using ONE of the following methods:

• Post the photo or video on your personal Facebook or Instagram feed, tag @LasPalapas, and include the hashtag #CallaghanThrowback in the caption.

• Post the photo or video as a comment on the official Callaghan Throwback Giveaway post on the Las Palapas Facebook or Instagram page.

• Send the photo or video via direct message (DM) to the official Las Palapas Facebook or Instagram account.

Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): No LP Club membership or photo/video submission is required to enter via this method. To enter by mail, send a handwritten 3" x 5" card or piece of paper containing your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to: Las Palapas Restaurants, Inc., Attn: Callaghan Throwback Giveaway AMOE, 8005 Callaghan Road,  San Antonio, TX 78230. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than the last day of the Giveaway Period and received within five (5) business days of the close of the Giveaway Period. Limit one (1) mail-in AMOE entry per person. AMOE entries will be included in the same random drawing as all other eligible entries and will have equal odds of winning. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

Limit one (1) entry per person regardless of method of submission. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Entries submitted through multiple channels will count as one (1) entry only.

Entries must not contain content that is obscene, offensive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Official Rules.

By submitting an entry, each entrant grants Las Palapas Restaurants, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute the submitted photo or video across all owned media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, the Las Palapas website, in-store displays, and promotional materials. Credit will be given to the original submitter where reasonably practicable. Entrants represent and warrant that they own the rights to the submitted content and that the content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

Five (5) winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative within seven (7) business days after the close of the Giveaway Period.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Grand Prize (1 winner): Free Las Palapas for one year, defined as $10 per week for fifty-two (52) consecutive weeks. The specific redemption method (gift card reload, loyalty credit, or other mechanism) will be determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Approximate retail value: $520.00. Prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Unused weekly plates do not roll over to subsequent weeks.

Runner-Up Prizes (4 winners): One (1) Las Palapas gift card valued at two hundred dollars ($200.00) each. Approximate retail value per prize: $200.00. Gift cards are subject to standard Las Palapas gift card terms and conditions.

No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

Winners will be notified via the platform through which they entered (Facebook comment reply, Instagram comment reply, or direct message) within seven (7) business days of the drawing. Winners who entered via the AMOE mail-in method will be notified by email and/or mail at the contact information provided on their entry card. Winners must respond to the notification within seventy-two (72) hours to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

Winners will be required to verify their LP Club membership and provide a valid form of identification to confirm eligibility. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where permitted by law, a publicity release as a condition of receiving a prize.

Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes, if any, that apply to their prizes. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to any winner receiving a prize valued at $600.00 or more in a calendar year, as required by law.

By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who acts in violation of these Official Rules.

By entering the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Las Palapas Restaurants, Inc., its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or relating to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

Entrant information collected in connection with the Giveaway will be used in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy. Personal information will not be sold to third parties. By entering, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described herein.

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Giveaway shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas. All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
